I Scaled a Top 1% AI firm in the US to 11k+ conversions within 9 months only.
Objective: Acquire more customers for the monthly subscription-based model. The AI SaaS is a subscription-based tool targeting both B2C and B2B clients.
Target Audience: Students, teachers, lawyers, office employees.
Initial Situation: After achieving SEO ranking, the client wanted to explore paid media marketing, specifically Google Ads.
Marketing Goals: Increase conversions while maintaining a low CPA exclusively through Google Ads.
Strategy & Approach:
- Campaign Structure:
- I used Search, Display, Video, Performance Max, and Retargeting Campaigns.
- I targeted the USA, UK, Canada, and some European countries. The idea was basically to target high-income countries.
- Keyword Strategy: I used Google Keyword Planner to search for keywords and built a list of keywords with high average monthly searches and low to medium competition. I also chose brand keywords. I utilized all three match types (broad, exact, and phrase match). Additionally, I created a negative keywords list that I applied to all campaigns and updated regularly. I kept adding search terms with a high conversion rate as exact match keywords.
- Ad Copy & Creative:
- I created at least two ads in every ad group to determine which performed better after a minimum of two weeks of running. After that, I paused the underperforming ad and created a new ad similar to the one that was performing well.
- Regular A/B testing ad copy, headlines, and descriptions.
- Asked the graphic designer to create appealing ad creatives, especially for PMX and Display ads.
- Landing Page Optimization: I ensured regularly that the website loading speed was fine.
- Budgets & Bidding Strategy:
- Used Target CPA as it gave me the best results without wasting ad spend.
- Started with max conversions and once I had some conversions I shifted to Target CPA.
- Tracking & Tools: I used GTM for conversion tracking after setting it up with the Google Ads account.
- Results: 11,600+ conversions using only Google Ads and the strategies I mentioned above.
